Contribution to vocational training in science and practice

Our project has already produced a large number of publications on the subject of automotive transformation and qualification. These are now joined by an article in the BIBB journal »Berufsbildung in Wissenschaft und Praxis« (Vocational Training in Science and Practice).

In this article, we report on one of the key findings of our project. Our research has shown that although qualification practices in companies are very heterogeneous, patterns can be identified, which we present here.

We also focus in particular on the topic of »peer learning.« This is because companies often rely on multipliers to transfer new knowledge to their workforce. In practice, this means, for example, that individual employees are sent on training courses and then have the task of passing on their knowledge internally to their colleagues. This is by no means an easy undertaking. In the article, we present a training course for the professionalization of peer learning. We designed, tested, and evaluated this course as part of the BeaT project together with our practice partner.

We hope you find it interesting!
