InSignA Performance Center

InSignA Performance Center – Intelligent Signal Analysis and Assistance Systems

We are part of the InSignA Performance Center, which is engaged in application-oriented research and development in the field of modern signal analysis and assistance systems.

Data plays a central role in the development and research of modern signal analysis and assistance systems in the areas covered by the Performance Center. It forms the basis for a wide range of applications. Data processing covers the entire cycle from acquisition and analysis to evaluation. With the InSignA methods, relevant sensor data can be efficiently recorded and transmitted wirelessly. These capabilities are essential for meeting the requirements of modern industry. Energy-autonomous sensor technology and advanced data processing technologies form the basis for innovative solutions and make an important contribution to competitiveness and sustainability. Various applications in relevant areas are supported.

Sensor technology

In the field of sensor technology, InSignA collects physical data such as temperature, pressure, light, and motion. This data forms the basis for the development of many intelligent systems.

Signal analysis, signal processing, signal evaluation

After data collection, the information gathered is analyzed and processed.

Artificial intelligence

AI encompasses algorithms and systems that solve tasks requiring human intelligence. These include machine learning and deep neural networks, which enable complex data processing.

Data transmission, radio transmission, data protection

Data transmission encompasses methods and technologies for transferring data between devices, including wired and wireless communication. The choice of technology depends on requirements such as data rate, range, and energy efficiency.

Quality testing and quality monitoring

Quality testing and monitoring ensure product and process quality through methods such as optical and acoustic inspection. The use of AI increases efficiency and accuracy in this area.

Simulation and demand forecasting for energy systems

Modern, decentralized energy supply requires careful planning, simulation, and monitoring to ensure efficiency and reliability.

The performance center works closely with industry partners and research institutions, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to develop innovative solutions. The technologies are used in areas such as transportation, industry, and healthcare to optimize processes and increase safety standards.

In order to understand these technologies, select and combine them wisely, implement them successfully, and use them efficiently, suitable training courses and continuing education formats are required, which are being developed by the Transfer via People working group.

To create a suitable environment, it is necessary to examine the conditions for successful knowledge acquisition and an innovative corporate culture. This topic is the focus of the Intra- and Entrepreneurship working group, which aims to develop needs-based consulting and training programs for decision-makers and executives.

A central task of the InSignA performance center is knowledge and technology transfer, which translates the latest research results into practice. As BeAT, we contribute our scientific expertise to the Transfer via People working group. We pool the latest findings from research and development and integrate them directly into our continuing education concepts. In addition, our offerings help attract young talent by giving students the opportunity to gain practical insights while still in school.

Our training courses and programs are based on the latest scientific findings and prepare specialists for future technological challenges. Through this practical knowledge transfer, we support companies and specialists in adapting to technological developments at an early stage and fully exploiting innovation potential.

Interested companies and professionals can contact us for information about customized continuing education offerings and cooperation opportunities.

Innovation and entrepreneurial spirit are the driving forces behind successful companies and institutions. Our working group researches the conditions that promote a dynamic culture of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Building on this, we develop practical approaches to strengthen intra- and entrepreneurship in the performance center—from consulting services and interactive events to customized support formats

Our goal is to provide inspiring impetus and create a creative space in which interdisciplinary exchange allows innovative ideas to grow and opens up new entrepreneurial paths.
