BeAT – Professional Development and Training CenterOn August 28, 2024, BeaT teamed up with IG Metall Eisenach to host a workshop on the mobility transition for employees in the automotive and supplier industries.
Dr. Johannes Schulten kicked things off with a keynote speech on the dual transformation of the automotive industry and the challenges it brings. This was followed by small group discussions on various aspects of the transformation. One topic was climate change and its local impacts. The world of work is also changing. It was emphasized that education and training are key to adapting to changing conditions and requirements. In order to make the transition to more environmentally friendly mobility socially equitable, a long-term strategic orientation is needed in companies. Employee participation is important here, as is networking between companies facing similar challenges.
